Community Events
Alongside the catalogue we run our own gatherings: long tables, market mornings, book salons, cold swims. They are how most people meet the community, and how most of our hosts started. Seats are limited while we are in beta.

Twelve people, one table, seated by hand so that nobody sits with the person they arrived with.
Our monthly dinner. Everything is cooked over fire in the courtyard, and the table is seated deliberately. Friends are separated on purpose.
It is the fastest way into the community. Most of our hosts came to one of these first.

A cold swim, coffee on the sand, and no agenda. Free, and open to anyone in the beta.
We meet at the steps, swim, and stand around with coffee until people have to leave for work.
No sign-up speech, no name badges. Bring a towel.

Everyone brings one book and reads the first page aloud. You leave with a list and usually a swap.
It runs for two hours in the back room after the shop closes, with wine from the corner shop.
Nobody has to have finished anything. That is the point.

We walk the flower market, build something each, then cook brunch together in a flat around the corner.
Half community event, half workshop. Everyone leaves with flowers and has cooked part of the meal.
Twelve seats, and we hold four of them for people new to the city.

Dinner for the people offering experiences in the network, and the ones thinking about it. By invitation.
Once a season we feed our hosts and whoever has applied and is close. It is the least formal onboarding imaginable.
