Before you paddle out anywhere, learn how to read a break: where the water goes back out, where to sit, when not to go.

We start on the sand with coffee, watching sets for twenty minutes. Nuno explains the rip, the peak, the shift, and the etiquette nobody tells you.
Then we paddle out together if the conditions are right. If they are not, that is the lesson.
